Australian Army Museum Tasmania

The Australian Army Museum Tasmania is
located within the Anglesea Barracks and is housed in the former military prison built in 1847. The Museum is run by volunteers. The barracks precinct is a unique heritage site still occupied by the Department of Defence. Some of its buildings date back to 1814 and remain largely unaltered since construction.

Open: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, 9.00 - 13.00
