Armidale Family History Group Inc

Armidale Family History Group Inc. was established in 1985 when a small group of people interested in the history of their families, banded together to form a genealogical group. Today the group has over 200 members and occupies Research Centre premises located in Kentucky Street, Armidale, between Dangar and Faulkner Streets. Non-members are charged $10.00 per day to use the Group's resources but no charge is made for members.

We open for research at our Kentucky Street Research Centre from 1 February until mid-December and excepting for public holidays: every Monday 2 pm to 5 pm and every Wednesday 10 am to 4 pm. The group also endeavours to open the Library for visitors from outside the New England region provided they are given 48 hours notice. If you are coming to Armidale to research, please write in advance to The Secretary to arrange for a volunteer to be able to assist you.
