North Shore Historical Society
Information: The Society was founded in 1958 and aims to further the knowledge of local history and to foster an interest in history generally in local school children.
Publications: Journal, three times per year; monthly one page bulletin.
Events: History Prise (called the Isabella Brierley Prize) - $2,500 for a paper on a person, event or location that increases our knowledge of local history. Entries close 1st July annually.
