Colac and District Historical Society
Information:	The Society was founded in 1950 and aims to collect, preserve and present the history of Colac and district. A research collection of files on local history, a complete collection of Colac Heralds from the 1860s on microfilm and a number of artefacts pertaining to the district is held in the Society's rooms at C.O.P.A.C.C. in Gellibrand Street, Colac. Opening hours are 2pm to 4pm Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Publications:	Colac and District Historical Society Newsletter is published 5 times each year.
Events:	Meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of each month (except December and January) at 7.30pm. Speakers at most meetings.
