The Barmera Branch of the National Trust (founded 1961) works in conjuction with Cobdogla Steam Friends in operating the open days at the Cobdogla Irrigation and Steam Museum within the SA Water premises, which also houses the 'Humphrey Pump'. The Barmera National Trust Branch occupies a building within the grounds. |
| Events: |
A display was set up in the Barmera Tourist Office in June 2005 coinciding with the National Trust's annual 'History Week'. The theme was 'Loveday Internment Camp' as this camp existed within the region, and the Branch is in the process of setting up a section of the Museum for this purpose. |
