Bombala & District Historical Society
Information:	The Society was founded in 1981 and aims to collect the history and documents of the Bombala district in maps, cemeteries, landmarks, residents, past tracks and roads and indigenous culture. The Society is run solely by volunteers.
Publications:	'Platypus' - a monthly 10-12 page journal published by Jean Cleret.
Events:	The Society holds occasional open days at weekends; monthly meetings; guest speakers; and runs two or three excursions to historic sites of the district. The Society is also a member of the South East Chapter Group and attends meetings and trips that others organise.
